POST 6: POSTGRADUATE STUDIES

If there is any magister or postgraduate course that I would like to do it would be in relation to international policies or organizations. In the Instituto de Asuntos Públicos there is a magister called Politics and International Relations in Asia Pacific [E-LEARNING], which is a course that is taught through the Internet. I am interested in this type of course because I can stay in Chile and be able to study something “foreign” at the same time, having the possibility of working and not necessarily having to travel to learn a new subject.

If I were given the possibility to study abroad with a scholarship or with some economic support, I would accept it, otherwise I would see it would be very complicated to study abroad. The area of interest that pleases me the most is that of international relations, so it would be perfect to study something outside, since I would have the direct experience of another country or organization in which I want to play in some future.

If I could not study something related to international policies I would like to do a master's degree in public innovation and open government, since it is necessary to apply new tools and governance models that have been developed in the XXI century for public administration and replace traditional practices or obsolete.

  1. I agree with you, the open government is the best form to make a change in the old form to do administration

  2. I had never listened of that postgraduate course. I think the international relations are very interesting and are very necessary to understand some facts.
